Community Bio Blitz

Join us for an evening of all things nature at the Community BioBlitz! Help contribute to local conservation efforts by photographing animals, plants, and fungi throughout Blendon Woods Metro Park and uploading your observations to iNaturalist.

Stop by the Dogwood Shelter when you arrive to check in, then head into the park and explore. The event is fun for all ages, and participants are welcome to return to the park and continue adding observations through November 30.

Representatives from Sustainable Westerville and Friends of Alum Creek and Tributaries (FACT) will also be on hand, including an opportunity to learn more about bird watching.

How to participate: Download the iNaturalist app, create an account, and join the “See the BioBlitz at Blendon Woods Metro Park” project. Then take and upload wildlife photos during your visit.
